NEW YORK (Top40 Charts/ 441 Records) - 441 Records is pleased to announce the release of the second volume of Art Farmer Quintet's live performances, AT BOOMERS VOL.2 (TOT-16), from our imprint TEST OF TIME Records.

Following the release of AT BOOMERS (TOT-15), AT BOOMERS VOL.2 rounds out the live performance recorded in May 1976 at Boomers in New York City with an additional four tracks. Both albums were released originally in 1976 by East Wind Records of Japan. In this set, you are treated to delicious solos and exchanges by quintet members Clifford Jordan, Cedar Walton, Sam Jones and Billy Higgins.

This is the fifth album in the Art Farmer collection from TEST OF TIME. Other titles in the collection includes YESTERDAY'S THOUGHTS, THE SUMMER KNOWS, and TO DUKE WITH LOVE.

This album is the latest in our line-up of more than thirty rare traditional Jazz efforts recorded between 1975 and 1980, all of which are geared to provide maximum enjoyment by combining top music archival performances with the most modern, up-to-date re-mastering possible. The sound is rich and contemporary while reaching back to the height of a by-gone era of arguably unparalleled musical skill and improvisation. Other artists featured include The Great Jazz Trio, Hank Jones, Andrew Hill, Sheila Jordan, Joe Sample and many others.

We hope this combination appeals to you and that you will look for other current and upcoming TEST OF TIME releases, which will include works by Junior Mance and Al Haig, in your search for the best. This series is essential listening for real fans and collectors of vintage jazz performances.
