Schlegel, interviewed during a recent trip to Music City to promote her current CD, FOR ALL THE WORLD TO SEE (Lilly Ray/IGO Records), opened up about her songwriting (she didn't write her first song until her 27th birthday), growing up in South Dakota and performing with Garrison Keillor (A Prairie Home Companion). She sang one of her favorite songs, "Drifter Like Me," on the show with banjo/guitar virtuoso Brian Fesler.
