Angel Records) - Newcomer Emma Mae Jacob and Sassy
Angel Records are celebrating a dynamic first week radio performance with the release of Jacob's second single, titled 'With You.' It captured 17 reporting radio stations in the song's first week at radio.

Jacob's single, 'With You,' showcases the powerhouse vocals that are rapidly becoming her signature. The critique in Music Row magazine by Robert K. Oermann says: 'This gal can flat-out sing. On this stately soul ballad, she wisely restrains herself at the opening, then gradually unleashes vocal fireworks after the bridge. Make this woman a star.' 'With You' was written by Karen Staley and Bob DiPiero, and was produced by Biff Watson.
Jacob has spent recent months proving her commitment to radio and country music fans across the United States. The Jacob career marathon kicked into high gear last winter with several national anthem performances including the PapaJohns.com Bowl and the Outback Bowl games, followed by several sellout tour stops opening for Jason Aldean. She then fired up the tour bus and began traveling to radio stations across the U.S. to introduce herself and her music to air personalities and music programmers, a tour that she actually began last fall.
Jacob took a short break in May to attend the Academy of Country Music Awards festivities where she participated in events including the Westwood One radio remote broadcasts, the 5th Annual Charity Motorcycle Ride and Freemont Street Jam, and the Orange Carpet Awards Arrivals. Last month she participated in one of the largest animation conventions in the U.S., followed by a full CMA Music Festival schedule in Nashville that included the Premiere Radio remotes and interviews with more than 35 radio stations and program syndicators about her upcoming single and video.
She's was lauded by Country Music DJ Hall of Fame member and WSM-AM air personality Bill Cody recently after performing a couple of acoustic numbers for him. Cody said, 'That's the most powerful voice we've heard in this studio in quite some time!' She has been featured on 'CMT Insider,' 'GAC Nights,' in a Radio & Records feature on hot independent artists, and in Country Weekly magazine's 'Who To Watch In '08.' Recently, Robin Leach referred to Jacob, Miranda Lambert, Kelly Pickler, Julianne Hough, and Taylor Swift as 'a young fresh-faced set of tomorrow's giants…' in Las Vegas magazine and Luxe Life Digest with Robin Leach.
Her accompanying music video, 'With You,' will follow the single release. Jacob's debut album BREAKIN' ALL THE RULES is scheduled for release first quarter, 2009.
