Charlie Allen Plays Hometown Tennessee Mega-Festival

Nashville, TN. (Top40 Charts/ River Run Records) - River Run Records artist, Charlie Allen, will perform at the Tennessee mega-festival Bonnaroo in Manchester, Tennessee, on Saturday, June 14. Allen, who resides in Manchester, is scheduled to entertain with his potent, passionate brand of Country music at 12:00 noon at the 'Bonnaroo Cafe.'

Allen, who performed at the CMA Music Festival in Nashville on Sunday, is pumped about his Bonnaroo show: 'I think it's gonna be a lot of fun. It will be a totally new experience for me. I'll get to see a lot of new faces and make a lot of new fans. I'm really excited that they invited me!'

This year's event is expected to draw in excess of 100,000 people, and boasts an impressive and eclectic line-up of acts including Willie Nelson; Robert Plant and Alison Krauss featuring T. Bone Burnett; Kanye West; Levon Helm and the Ramble on the Road; B.B. King; Solomon Burke, and dozens of other artists over the course of four days.

Allen has just released 'Bonnaroo' his musical tribute to the huge annual gathering. The song has attracted the attention of the AP National Newswire and it is slated to be included in a story about the festival, scheduled for publication this week.
