New York, NY. (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) - Teddy Thompson's fourth album, 'A Piece Of What You Need,' will be released on June 17 via Verve Forecast. Grammy nominee Marius DeVries, longtime Bjork, David Gray and Rufus Wainwright collaborator, produced the album.

The first single, "In My Arms," is a fun poppy throwback, complete with handclaps and Farfisa organ. Thompson, known for his crisp, soothing voice and songwriting talent, picks up where he left off on his acclaimed 2006 sophomore album 'Separate Ways' with clever songcraft, good-natured but dark humor and moods from the cheerful to the melodramatic.

Teddy is the son of British folk icons Richard and Linda Thompson, and co-wrote Linda's most recent album, the acclaimed 'Versatile Heart.' He's collaborated with Martha and Rufus Wainwright, and his songs have been featured in the films 'Brokeback Mountain' and '40 Days And 40 Nights.'
He will be touring the US and UK in June and July.
