Julianne Hough Has No 1-Selling Country Album & No 3 Overall Album

NASHVILLE, TN. (Top40 Charts/ Mercury Nashville) - Mercury Nashville and Julianne Hough are celebrating the newcomer's self-titled debut album sales in excess of 67K, which makes it the No 1-selling country album and No 3 overall album this week. This also marks the highest country debut of an artist since 2006.

"Country music has always been my passion," says Julianne. "Having the opportunity to make a record in Nashville and then getting to share that with the world is beyond my wildest imagination. A big thanks to Luke Lewis and the entire Mercury staff."

It's the culmination of a huge week for Julianne that included performances on Good Morning America and The View, and singing the national anthem at the Indy 500.
