Bell X1 Plots US Encore Tour To Lift Off May 16 In Boston

Haw River, NC (Top40 Charts/ Yep Roc Records) - Irish indie rockers Bell X1 will land in the US for an encore tour, kicking off May 16 in Boston. Their last US tour saw them sell out two shows at New York's Bowery Ballroom, appear on The Late Show with David Letterman, and perform "Rocky Took a Lover" for The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, which aired Wednesday night. The US tour follows a trek through Europe with Nada Surf.

Bell X1 also endured every band's nightmare - a bus fire on their way out of the third gig of the last tour. The band emerged from the bus, which had formerly belonged to Tim McGraw, unscathed - and with all vintage synths and Telecasters intact.

The band's US debut 'Flock,' out now on Yep Roc, has earned them critical acclaim and US fans. The band has also appeared on Late Night with Conan O'Brien (NBC) and The Late Show with David Letterman (CBS) in 2008.
