NEW YORK, NY. (Top40 Charts/ Warner Bros. Records) - Every generation needs its own pop idols to scream for, and this spring, a new generation will get its dose when the five mad-talented young singers and dancers in pop vocal group V Factory hit the road for the first-ever "Bandemonium" tour. They will join three other hot up-and-comers, Menudo, NLT, and GLOWB, for this nationwide 16-date tour, which begins on May 1st in Las
Vegas and hits major cities across the U.S.
The V Factory quintet features lead singer Asher Book (who toured as the longest-running character of "Chip" in Disney's "Beauty and the Beast"), Jared Murillo (featured in "High School Musical I & II"), Wesley Quinn (the fun-loving Southern boy and youngest member at 18), Nicky T. (the edgy hip-hop singer/dancer from inner-city Philly), and Nathaniel Flatt (who has movie-star looks, great vocals and is a graduate of the Broadway Dance Center in New York).
The instantly addictive, hip-hop-meets R&B songs that V Factory have just finished recording for their debut album (due from Warner Bros. Records this summer) share a musical vibe with Usher's "Yeah!" and Chris Brown's "Kiss Kiss." The first single, the crunk-tinged "She Bad," even features a rap from Bay Area Hyphy star E-40. Written and produced by a top-notch team, including Kara DioGuardi, Twin, J. Marty and Soundz, V Factory's upcoming album has something for everyone, from tough-edged beats to touching ballads, giving it an appeal to music lovers of all ages.
The "Bandemonium" touring brand was created by Johnny Wright, who knows a thing or two about pop groups, having managed *N SYNC, Backstreet Boys, Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears, and the Jonas Brothers over the years. The tour will reinvent itself each year by featuring different acts, but will launch its inaugural outing with performances from V Factory, Menudo (Epic), NLT (Geffen) and GLOWB (Rich Music/Konvict).
