NASHVILLE, TN. (Top40 Charts/ Signature Records) - Eddie P. Briley is set for the March 11 release of his debut CD, Briley-fied, on Signature Records. 'Daddy's Girl,' the first single from the CD is currently climbing the charts at radio, with national promotion by Quarterback Records and Aspirion Records. Aspirion is also handling distribution for the album.

Briley-fied was recorded in Nashville , and produced by Shawn Conley. Briley wrote or co-wrote twelve of the thirteen songs on the disc, which features a refreshing fusion of country and pop-edged rock. Filled with high-energy rockers and emotional ballads, Briley-fied is certain to win new legions of fans for this handsome Miami , Florida native. Briley states, 'I feel very good about the record. Everyone did a phenomenal job on it. If I can touch somebody in some way with this CD - and inspire them - I would feel a great sense of accomplishment.'

Briley-fied opens with the driving, 'I Remember,' a bittersweet look back at a long-lost love from the past which features harmonica and fleet fingered guitar work. 'How Could You Leave,' a mid-tempo, perfectly segues into 'Daddy's Girl,' a powerful ballad which Briley wrote for his daughter Aubrie-elle. 'On The Radio' mixes fast and furious guitars with locomotion drumming in a story about a hungry musician with big dreams. Other stand-out tracks on the CD include 'Photograph,' a heart-tugging ballad that perfectly showcases Briley's melodic writing against a backing of shimmering, soaring guitars; 'Carolina,' a high-energy rocker; and 'It Was Meant To Be,' a Southern anthem which opens with the sounds of thunder and haunting power chords. The lone 'cover' on the project, 'Sister Goldenhair' was originally recorded by the group, America . 'This song just kept coming around on the radio while we were working on the album,' recalls Briley. 'It just seemed like a sign that we should cut it!'

Briley was born and raised in Miami , Florida . He recalls that as a child he would listen to music on the radio, and memorize the lyrics so he could sing along. 'I was inspired by almost everything that I heard - pop, rock, and country. It all played a role in my musical development.' By the time he was 12, Briley was teaching himself to play the guitar. During his teen years, he began performing professionally, honing his craft playing acoustic guitar and singing in local Florida bands. As his talent developed, Briley found his own creative vision and began to write songs. Soon he realized that songwriting was a vehicle which allowed him to forge his own signature sound and express his feelings in a heartfelt and powerful way.

Most performers hold a 'day job' while they are pursuing their musical dream and Briley's day job for the past eleven years has been as firefighter and paramedic with his hometown fire department. 'I have pictures of me as a small child sitting in a fire truck,' he says. 'I was always interested in firefighting. I love it. You are helping people - and the rewards far outweigh the risks.'

'But, as much as I love my work with the fire department, I love my music too! I get a real 'high' from performing – especially when the audience sings along with me!' Briley exclaims. 'I am anxious to get out on the road to promote Briley-fied. I look forward to sharing it with the world!' And with over 2.2 million visits to his MySpace page – it seems that he is reaching that goal.
