Shawna Russell and Way Out West Records Ink Deal with Nine North Records

Nashville, TN. (Top40 Charts/ Way Out West Records) - Shawna Russell and Way Out West Records have reached an agreement with Larry Pareigis and his company Nine North Records to head up national radio promotion for Russell's forthcoming single, 'Goddess,' according to Russell's co-manager, Clif Doyal, of the Clif Doyal Agency/CDA Promotions-Nashville.

"We are excited to have Larry and his great team on-board for this project,' Doyal says. 'I know from working with Nine North in the past that they can break her on a national level.' Pareigis states: 'Shawna Russell is a unique vocalist and performer who connects in a visceral way. The Nine North team looks forward to working with Clif Doyal and the Way Out West family to make this 'goddess's' dreams come true.'

Russell, whose Goddess CD is officially released tomorrow, will be in Nashville during CRS this week for a full schedule of interviews and 'meet-and-greets.' Her team has also announced that they will host a CD release event and performance by Russell on Thursday, March 6, from 4:30 – 5:30 pm, at Cadillac Ranch, 305 Broadway, in Nashville . Open to the public, the event will also include a special VIP package of limo services, food and drinks for CRS radio and media attendees.

Russell was recently named as one of the Country Music Association's 'Who New to Watch in 2008,' and her Goddess CD has received rave reviews from Country Stars Online, Maverick magazine, Nashville Music Guide, and others.
