Taylor Swift To Appear On Ellen Degeneres' 2008 Grammy Show Monday

Nashville, TN. (Top40 Charts/ Big Machine Records) - Best New Artist GRAMMY nominee Taylor Swift will be the lead guest on The Ellen DeGeneres Show's special GRAMMY episode on Monday, February 11th. Check local listings for stations and times.

This will be Taylor's second visit to the Ellen show in less than a month, as she made her first appearance on the show on January 17th. Ellen and her production staff were so impressed with Taylor's interview and performance last month that she was invited that same day to come back for the GRAMMY show. The show will be taped on GRAMMY day, Sunday, February 10th, at the Convention Center in downtown Los Angeles to air the next day. Taylor will go straight from the Ellen show to the GRAMMY red carpet, after a quick stop to change into her awards show gown.

Taylor's double-platinum debut CD, released on Big Machine Records, is currently in its 13th week in the No 1 position atop Billboard's Country Album Sales chart, and the album holds firm its position inside the Top 10 of Billboard's all-genre Top 200 Albums chart. Her new single, the fan-favorite 'Picture To Burn,' just arrived at country radio and has already made a fast start in its ascent of the charts by achieving Most Added status. Her single 'Teardrops On My Guitar,' which peaked at No 2 on the country charts last year, is currently at No 7* and climbing Billboard's CHR/Top 40 chart.
