Nashville, TN. (Top40 Charts/ Billy Chernoff Official Website) - BILLY CHERNOFF is set to release his new single, "My Sweet Love's Arms"! The fiddle-driven two-stepper that tells a beautiful love story built on a foundation of unending devotion. "My Sweet Love's Arms" is the follow-up single to "Through Hell With You" (And Back Again); both songs are on A Better Way. Billy wrote or co-wrote all 11 tracks on this album. No stranger to the music business, Billy's interest in pursuing music began in his early teens, after receiving his first guitar. Soon, the Vancouver, British Columbia native was playing club circuit in Toronto. Eventually, Billy heard Music City calling, and he headed to Nashville to further his career. "No Lonelier Than You" was his first hit; it charted nationally in Canada in 1968. After signing with RCA Records, he wrote "Susie's Better Half and "When You Were a Lady," both of which would become top 5 hits for Billy (No 5 and No 1, respectively.) Perhaps the most popular hit he earned was "To Ma Ray, Tom O Ray" – it topped the charts nationally in Canada and regionally in the United States. Other merits include a nomination for a Heritage Award with the Cowboy Hall of Fame in Oklahoma City and being named Best Country Male Artist in Canada by the New Christian Music (NCM) in 2007; Billy accepted his trophy for the latter during the London-based awards show. Four decades after his first single hit the charts, Billy's music continues to have international appeal. His songs have been played all over Canada, the United States, Australia, Japan, New Zealand, and United Kingdom. A Better Way is available for purchase on Billy's official website: https://www.billychernoff.com.
