Nashville, TN. (Top40 Charts/ Universal South) - In the current issues of both the Village Voice and Nashville Scene, music fans will once again see Joe Nichols' name. The Universal Records South artist and his current CD, Real Things, have again been listed among the Best of 2007 artists and releases. Nichols has already logged similar accolades in several major publications, including the New York Times. In addition to these best of listings, Nichols' latest single from Real Things, titled "It Ain't No Crime," is already inching near Top 30 status on the music charts, after only two weeks of release. This week it was the most added song at radio. "Its been an amazing few weeks," the artist said. "Last year was a year of incredible highs and some really tough lows. It is an understatement to say that I'm so grateful for all of the great things happening for this CD right now. It's one I am really proud of, and because of the effort people like Brent Rowan and Mark Wright put into it- well, I'm happy to see their work get these acknowledgments. Nichols is set to perform his new single on Late Night With Conan O'Brien January 28th. Additionally, look for a two part interview with Nichols and CMT Insider host Katie Cook, beginning January 26th, as well as a major feature on the artist in an upcoming issue of Country Weekly.
