NEW YORK (Top40 Charts/ Verve Records) - It's a terrific time for GRAMMY nominated 'Best New Artist' Ledisi. The rising soul star is confirmed to honor another powerhouse voice at this year's MusiCares Person of the Year gala recognizing Aretha Franklin on February 8th. Following that show and the GRAMMY Awards, she'll return to the east coast with a full band for shows in Philadelphia, DC and New York City. True to the title of her two-time GRAMMY nominated album Ledisi was 'Lost and Found' (Verve). The soul phenomenon came close to quitting show biz after years of hard work and rejection.
