Nashville, TN. (Top40 Charts/ 1720 Ent.) - Emerging country singer/songwriter, Rissi Palmer will be part of Starbucks "Songs of the Day" celebration. The unprecedented free digital music promotion will offer 1.5 million free songs per day from a diverse line-up of 37 artists. In addition to Palmer, other participating artists include Keith Urban, Bob Dylan, Joss Stone, John Mayer, Annie Lennox, John Legend, Paul McCartney and more.

From Oct. 2 through Nov. 7, Starbucks customers will receive 50 million free cards, redeemable for one iTunes track each. About 1.5 million cards will be given out each day at Starbucks' more than 10,000 U.S. stores.

The new promotion further continues Palmer's relationship with the coffee chain. In July, Starbucks Entertainment distributed Palmer's Country Girl - EP that became an instant Top Seller on iTunes Top Country Albums chart.
The collection features four of Palmer's self-penned songs, including the title track and three additional songs exclusively recorded for Starbucks Entertainment. The digital EP peaked at an impressive No 3 ranking along side country superstars Tim McGraw, Taylor Swift and Brad Paisley. iTunes customers gave the EP an exceptional 5-star rating and posted rave reviews.
Fans will have a chance to hear more music from Palmer when her self-titled debut full-length album hits record stores Tuesday, October 23.
