Nashville, TN. (Top40 Charts/ Midas Records) - Alternative country rocker and Mississippi native, Steve Azar is proud to be participating in his home state's largest professional sporting event, the Pro-Am Viking Classic. The event will take place Monday, September 24 - Sunday, September 30 at the Annandale Golf Club, located at 100 Annandale Golf Club Drive in Madison, MS. The Viking Classic will benefit numerous charities, churches and schools throughout the state of Mississippi.

On Wednesday, September 26, Azar, who ranked No 4 among Golf Digest's "Top 100 Musician Golfers" will tee off in the Pro-Am tournament against stars of NASCAR, NFL, and stars of the culinary world. On Sunday, September 30, Azar will entertain players and fans with a rocking concert performance at the After Play Party to be held at Pearl River Resort located at Highway 16 West in Choctaw, MS.
