Nashville, TN. (Top40 Charts/ CMC Australia) - Hot new US country band, Roadmark, the 5 piece group from Nashville which includes a native Australian member - has just had the music video for their debut single, "Back In My Hometown", added to CMC Australia. The band which consists of Jeff Diltz, Andrew Thomas Bunel, Pete Robertson, Michael Bistany and Brandon Onstad - recently wrapped up their first appearance at the internationally known CMA Festival in Nashville in June where they not only performed - but - were also interview by Country Music Television (CMT) at their studios in downtown Nashville - where the band talked about many things - including their newly finished music video. The group shot the music video earlier this year in Adams, Tennessee - a small town just an hour north of Nashville. Although most of the performance footage was shot on Friday 13th (of April) and also given the fact that Adams is the home of the infamous "Bell Witch" (the subject of the 2005 horror film "Bell Witch: The Movie", which was based on true events) - the video for "Back In My Hometown" is more "down-home southern charm" than witches, Jason and Freddie. Band member, Pete Robertson, is a former semi pro motocross/supercross rider and surfer originally from Newcastle in New South Wales. He performed alongside Shania Twain and fellow Aussie, Jamie O'Neal, prior to joining Roadmark as the group's lead guitarist. The "Back In My Hometown" single ships to country radio Australia wide in mid September with Roadmark's full length debut cd, "Ready For The Ride", hitting retail in spring. There are also plans underway for a possible promotional tour to Australia early next year.
