Nashville, TN. (Top 40 Charts/ KOCH Records) - Rissi Palmer, one of country music's most promising new stars, will return once again to the Grand Ole Opry on Saturday, September 15 - making her third appearance in less than three months. Palmer will perform at 7:30pm and at 11pm. Palmer, who made her Opry debut June 22 and second appearance August 11, says she's incredibly honored to be invited back so frequently in such a short period of time and that she cherishes each opportunity to step out on the hallowed stage. "My debut performance at the Opry was one of the most amazing and emotional experiences," says Palmer. "When I came to Nashville, one of the first places I visited was the Opry and I remember standing in the back of the theatre and dreaming that one day I would be performing there. Six years later, my dream came true and there I was singing a song I wrote, "Country Girl" and the classic, "Leavin' On Your Mind" standing in the same sacred circle where Patsy Cline once stood." Palmer's debut single, "Country Girl" is currently climbing the country singles chart and is the first release from her forthcoming self-titled debut album scheduled for release October 23 on 1720 Entertainment, distributed by Koch.
