NASHVILLE, TN. (Top40 Charts/ Arista Records) - The Academy of Country Music and Country Radio Broadcasters, Inc. (CRB) have announced that Brad Paisley will host and headline this year's Music City Jam. The concert which will take place on Wednesday, March 5th at the Nashville Convention Center, is sponsored by the Academy of Country Music and United Stations Radio Networks.

Brad was set to perform last year, but was forced to cancel his appearance due to the birth of his first child.

"The Academy of Country Music is so excited that Brad is hosting the Music City Jam," said Bob Romeo, Executive Director of the Academy of Country Music. "As the Academy's reining Top Male Vocalist, he is sure to make it a great show and a good time for all CRB registrants."

"Brad Paisley is a longtime friend of The Country Radio Broadcasters. He was one of the CRS New Faces of 2000 and has participated in many of our events over the years," said Ed Salamon, Executive Director of The Country Radio Broadcasters. "I have great memories of Brad playing in tribute to Eddy Arnold when CRB honored Eddy with a Career Achievement Award in 1999, and I am really looking forward to this one-of-a-kind event where Brad will interact with other stars."

Brad Paisley's fifth Arista Nashville album, 5th Gear, was released on June 19th, 2007 and has already sold nearly a half a million units. Paisley's previous four Arista Nashville albums have all been certified Platinum or Double Platinum, with total sales well in excess of seven million copies. Paisley's BONFIRES AND AMPLIFIERS will continue through the fall. Brad's current single "Online" is rocketing up the country charts.
CRB registration information is available at www.crb.org.
