NEW YORK (Oasis Official Website) - Oasis members Noel Gallagher and Andy Bell and touring keyboardist Jay Darlington (formerly of Kula Shaker) were injured Tuesday (Aug. 6) in Indianapolis when the taxi in which they were traveling collided head-on with another vehicle.

According to a statement on the band's official Web site, all three members were taken to a nearby hospital by ambulance where they were all treated for cuts, bruises, and shock.

Darlington was the worse off of the three as his hand was strapped and required further treatment on Wednesday (Aug. 7). Gallagher, who was traveling in the front seat, was treated for heavy facial bruising suffered from air bag deployment and seat belt burns. Bell escaped with much of the same.

As a result, Tuesday's sold-out show at the Murat Theater in Indy will be postponed. "Neither member is well enough to undertake the show at the Murat Theater in Indianapolis on Wednesday evening, and have been ordered by hospital doctors to fully rest for the next 48 hours to let their prescribed medication take full effect," said the statement.

The band's next show -- reportedly on as scheduled -- is Friday (Aug. 10) in Upper Darby, Pa., near Philadelphia.
