LOS ANGELES, CA (Top40 Charts/ Dept. 56) - "The truth, like humor, is where you find it," says HENRY ROLLINS. The always outspoken ROLLINS will bring a little bit of both with him on the road for his North American fall tour "PROVOKED: AN EVENING OF QUINTESSENTIALLY AMERICAN OPINIONATED EDITORIALIZING AND STORYTELLING," which launches
September 14 at the Orpheum Theatre in Flagstaff, AZ. The tour spans over 50 shows and nearly as many cities from coast to coast in the U.S. and Canada.
Tickets for all shows on the tour go on sale Friday, July 13 and Saturday, July 14. "PROVOKED" promises to incite and offer insight, to enrage and enlighten, and to draw both laughs and ire.
"PROVOKED" is HENRY's most extensive talking tour since 2005's "25 Years of Bulls**," which marked 25 years on the road for ROLLINS. Since that time, HENRY toured with his classic Rollins Band lineup in 2006; he has continued to entertain American troops through the USO (most recently, HENRY's 7th USO tour took him to Djibouti - with his own side trip to visit Iran); and he has maintained his weekly radio show "Harmony In My Head" on L.A.'s Indie 103.1 FM.
Meanwhile, "The Henry Rollins Show" continues its successful second season on the Independent Film Channel (IFC). With new episodes airing every Friday at 11pm ET/8pm PT, "The Henry Rollins Show" features uncensored musical performances and interviews, and HENRY's impassioned and unyielding cultural commentary. Guests this season have ranged from
Iggy Pop to Don Cheadle to Iraq war veterans Paul Rieckoff and Jason Lemieux. Among HENRY's musical guests have been The Stooges, Chris Cornell, and The Mars Volta.
