TOLEDO, Ohio (Top40 Charts/ Chrysler Group) - The DaimlerChrysler Corporation Fund today announced it will be the title sponsor of the annual Art Tatum Jazz Heritage Festival in Toledo for the fourth consecutive year. The fund and Chrysler Group donated $100,000 for this year's event. The yearly festival began in 2000 and presents jazz music from national and local talent while celebrating the art, skill and aural history of the music.

This year's festival will be held on June 16 and 17 at the International Park located at 2201 Ottawa Dr. Thie headline acts will be three-time Grammy Award winner Roberta Flack and two-time Grammy nominee Boney James.

"As part of a continuous commitment to support the arts and the all- American Jeep community of Toledo, we're excited to once again be the title sponsor of the Art Tatum Jazz Festival," said Frank Fountain, Chrysler Group Senior Vice President of External Affairs and Public Policy and President of the DaimlerChrysler Corporation Fund. "Sponsoring the festival gives Chrysler Group the opportunity to be a part of the city's vision and give back to a community that is very valuable to us."

Over the years, the DaimlerChrysler Corporation Fund has contributed to the Toledo area by refurbishing land near the Toledo Assembly Plant for the construction of Liberty Park as well as supporting the Toledo Urban League, Toledo Opera, the Toledo Museum of Art, Toledo Zoological Society and the Diamante Awards, for excelling in service to Latino communities.

Chrysler Group's operations in the greater Toledo area include the Toledo North Assembly Plant, Toledo Supplier Park and the Toledo Machining Plant. Additionally, Toledo has been home to the Jeep(R) brand since 1941 when the vehicles were built by Willys Overland.

The DaimlerChrysler Fund, now in its 54th year, is the primary source of charitable grants made by DaimlerChrysler Corporation. The Fund annually supports hundreds of charitable organizations with an emphasis on community growth, arts and education, in the United States and increasingly throughout the world.
