Nashville, TN. (Top40 Charts/ Universal Records South) - Joe Nichols' single, 'I'll Wait For You,' joins an exclusive club this week with the announcement in Radio & Records that the song has been given a 'BDS Certified Spin Award,' having reached 100,000 spins in April. Nichols joins other artists such as Fergie/Ludacris, Nickelback, Timbaland, Fall Out Boy, Martina McBride, Pink, Avril Lavigne, Buck Cherry and Keith Urban on the 100,000 spins Honor Roll. 'When you take a song this good, a singer this good and combine it with a record staff with unwavering passion to deliver it, you can reach a very rare and coveted level of performance such as this,' said Universal Records South Sr. VP of Promotion Michael Powers. 'We would like to thank radio for hanging with us for the 39 weeks that it took to reach it - it was worth the wait!' Hot on the heels of 'I'll Wait For You' is Nichols' newest single, 'Another Side of You,' the first release from his new CD, Real Things, set to street late summer. The recording is Nichols' fourth studio CD for Universal Records South, and is produced by Mark Wright and Brent Rowan.
