PIGEON FORGE, TN. (Top40 Charts/ Dolly Parton Official Website) - China may be the traditional 20th anniversary gift, but on Monday night, May 21, the plates were filled with a four-course feast!

Entertainment icon Dolly Parton celebrated the 20th anniversary of her Dixie Stampede dinner theatre with more than 900 supporters, friends and family Monday at the Pigeon Forge location. The special invitation only show featured the dinner theatre attraction's owner and visionary during a live performance by Parton of the show's signature patriotic finale "Color Me America."

"It's hard to believe that Dixie Stampede is 20 years old. It just keeps getting older and better, and I stay the same age!" Parton joked. "Seriously, we have been blessed with incredible success with not only our Pigeon Forge location but in Branson, Myrtle Beach and Orlando. And we're working hard to continue that success."

Earlier in the evening, Parton performed with Wild Oats, the nightly featured pre-show entertainment in Dixie Stampede's Carriage Room In appreciation of the city's support during the last 20 years, Parton also presented a bronze sculpture to the Pigeon Forge officials. The nine-foot-tall stallion features a plaque with the inscription "to ride a horse is to ride the sky." The sculpture will be on permanent display at the Pigeon Forge Welcome Center located at traffic light one on the Parkway.

Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede is a unique dinner and show experience set in a 85,000-square-foot arena featuring 32 magnificent horses, dozens of cast members, live buffalo, ostrich races, illusions, music and more. With seating to accommodate 1,000 guests, the show features a friendly rivalry between the North and the South. Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede dinner and show operates in four locations: Pigeon Forge, Myrtle Beach, S.C., Branson, Mo., and Orlando, Fla. For more information, call 1-800-356-1676.
