NASHVILLE, TN. (Top40 Charts/ Nashville Records) - Nashville Records, Inc. is proud to announce the addition of TV and Broadway Star Tom Wopat to its upcoming Christmas Album.

Wopat is best known for starring in the hit television series "The Dukes of Hazzard," but Wopat is also a critically-acclaimed and Tony-nominated country music entertainer and Broadway star.

Wopat appeared as the lead in "Chicago" and returned to Broadway in March for his first dramatic role there, starring alongside Alan Alda, Jeffrey Tambor and Liev Schreiber in David Mamet's "Glengarry Glen Ross."

Wopat has recorded nine albums. He first started singing and dancing in high school musicals and studied music at the University of Wisconsin before making his television debut in 1978. He starred in the "Dukes of Hazzard," which ran from 1979-1985, playing Luke Duke. After the series ended, Wopat made his triumphant return to Broadway ("Annie Get Your Gun") and continued to appear on television ("Cybill," "Home Improvement," and hosting his own show on TNN/The Nashville Network).

Wopat's recording career started in 1983 with his self-titled country album. Since then, he released six other country albums. Further information on Wopat can be found on the Company's Website, www.nashvillerecords.com.

Nashville Records, Inc. is a Nashville-based record label located in the heart of Music Row. The key management and advisors are industry-retired individuals who were dissatisfied with the direction in which the music industry was headed. In the past, this management team has been credited with combined sales into the billions of dollars and has been responsible for hundreds of charted hits.
