Keith Anderson Helps Launch Nashville Chapter of Musicians On Call

Nashville, TN. (Top40 Charts/ Arista Records) - Arista Nashville recording artist Keith Anderson will perform at a special celebration to mark the opening of the Nashville chapter of Musicians on Call tomorrow evening, May 9, 6:00 PM, at the Hard Rock Cafe in downtown Nashville .

Musicians On Call, a nonprofit organization formed in 1999, brings live and recorded music to the bedsides of patients in healthcare facilities. They use music to promote and complement the healing process for patients, families and caregivers. Additionally, Musicians On Call seeks to raise awareness of the beneficial effects of music and entertainment. Programs include Bedside Performances, CD Pharmacies that provide CDs and players to patients and Project Playback that teams patients with songwriters and producers to create CDs.

Artists that have participated in Bedside Performances include John Mayer, Avril Lavigne, Kelly Rowland and many others. MOC is partnered in Nashville with the Department of Cultural Enrichment at Vanderbilt University Medical Center .
