Nashville, TN. (Top40 Charts/ ChinMusic Records) - Singer, songwriter, recording artist and host of The Sportsman Channel's Backstage & Backroads, Daniel Lee Martin (ChinMusic Records) has received four nominations in the 13th Annual Strictly Country Spirit Awards. Not one, but four of Daniel Lee's singles ("It's All How You Look At It," "Through And Through," "You Can't Be Everything To Everybody," "That's What God Made Rivers For") from his sophomore CD, ON MAY WAY TO YOU, made the grade to be nominated for Song Of The Year in this fan-voted awards presentation. In good company in the category, Daniel Lee is joined by Darryl Worley ('I Just Came Back From A War'), Martina McBride ('For These Times'), Dierks Bentley ('The Heaven I'm Headed To') and newcomer Jason Michael Carroll ('Alyssa Lies'). Pirates of The Mississippi were recognized with the honor in the category's inaugural run last year for their single 'A Snowman In Birmingham.' The Spirit Awards, created by Strictly Country magazine in 1995, are designed to give country music entertainers a fair opportunity to win awards voted upon by their fans, music industry personnel and peers. Voting for the Spirit Awards will begin on November 15, 2007 and continue until December 15. Votes may be cast by visiting www.strictly-country.com. The winning entertainers will be notified on January 15, 2008 and the results will appear in the January/February print issue.
