London, UK. (Top40 Charts/ Fantasy Island) - The rock world is on fire with the release of UK power trio GMT's new heavy hitting CD Bitter & Twisted. GMT features Bernie Torme: Irish guitar legend and frontman, known for saving the day for Ozzy Osbourne when guitarist Randy Rhoads tragically died, as well as hits and tours with Ian Gillan (Deep Purple), Desperado, Twisted Sister frontman Dee Snider, Iron Maiden drummer Clive Burr, Torme, LA Guns singer Philip Lewis and much, much more?

John McCoy: Larger than life lead bass player, a man mountain with a huger sound. Former bass player and producer with Gillan, Mammoth, Sampson, Joey Belladonna (Anthrax), UK Subs, and Atomic Rooster.

Robin Guy: Powerhouse tribal drummer previously with Bruce Dickinson (Iron Maiden), Faith No More, Lars Frederiksen (Rancid), Adam Ant and many others.

GMT's new CD Bitter & Twisted, released on Bernie Torme's label Retrowrek Records, has been receiving rave reviews worldwide. Here's what some of the critics are saying:

"Once you pop in the rocking debut, Bitter & Twisted from GMT (Guy McCoy Torme ), it's like throwing a lit match in a pool of gasoline! Coming at you like a battering ram the trio unleash their rock fury with... Like the late Joe Strummer and Rancid, GMT have not only embraced Punk, but elevate it to its truest art and rawest form. Combining it around richly textured power guitar hooks and an attitude that would bring a brama bull to its knees. There is something incredibly special about this band. - (The Atomic Chaser) Access Magazine, Los Angeles, CA USA

"...GMT have released an album that not only will peel the paint off your walls, but will definitely perk up the ears of any fan of no nonsense heavy rock, resulting in one of the finest records of the year in the process... Remarkably diverse, especially for the power trio format, what GMT have come up with is a most impressive, cohesive mix of songs certain to find favor with all those who seek this out. Rather than merely playing it safe and coming up with something predictable, these three extremely talented rock veterans have created an album which is as vital as anything being released in heavy rock today, while still retaining enough of the classic elements which brought them recognition in the first place." - www.rocknrolluniverse.com

"If you thought the idea of a stripped-down rock 'n' roll power trio was dead and buried in these technological times, think again. GMT are as raw as untreated sewage - and as environmentally unfriendly... Enjoy. This is as twisted as a tornado." - Classic Rock Magazine - UK

"...This album ROCKS and then some!.. think Thin Lizzy meets the Pogues, this album is a sheer joy. As a three piece they exude so much power, in fact a melodic Motorhead would be a near comparison. The power trio as it should be done: no frills rock 'n' roll..." - www.classicrocknewswire.blogspot.com

"I'm so pleased, I can't believe it," says Bernie Torme about the rave reactions the new GMT CD has been garnering. "I've been recording albums since 1978 when my first album was recorded, but I don't think I've ever played on an album, or recorded any album that has received such an amazing response. The thing is, we recorded it, and it was just for our own enjoyment. It wasn't actually planned to be a popular album. It was just a case of going and recording an album, just as we are, because it was enjoyable playing together. We've had great press, just amazing press!"
