Nashville, TN. (Top40 Charts/ ACM) - The Academy of Country Music is set to award the best of the best, and the Grand Ole Opry is celebrating with an America's Grand Ole Opry Weekend ACM Awards Special. Airing the weekend of May 12, the radio special will feature Opry performances recorded live by the hottest artists up for this year's top ACM trophies.

The special will feature Opry performances by Opry members Brad Paisley, with his smash hit 'She's Everything,' and Martina McBride's 'Anyway.' Other performances included are 'Before He Cheats' by Carrie Underwood, 'Would You Go With Me' by Josh Turner, Taylor Swift's 'Teardrops On My Guitar,' '8th of November' by Big & Rich, 'If You're Going Through Hell' by Rodney Atkins, and many more of radio's biggest hits from the past year. The live recordings were recorded on stage at the Grand Ole Opry House, itself an ACM nominee for Venue of the Year.

Programmers interested in the special should contact Westwood One at (480) 607-4207. America's Grand Ole Opry Weekend presents top artists' performances from the Opry stage each week. The show, which launched in May 2003, is serviced by Westwood One and airs on more than 200 country radio stations across the country and on the American Forces Radio Network.

The 42nd Annual Academy of Country Music Awards will be broadcast live from MGM Grand in Las Vegas on Tuesday, May 15, 2007 at 8:00 PM ET/PT on the CBS Television Network.
