London, UK. (Top40 Charts/ UMVD Import) - Koopa's new single One Off Song For The Summer is released on June 11th and is already being demanded for playlists and features and once again is endorsed all the way through with pure Koopa quality and Essex cheekiness and the video promises to live up to every expectation. Pre orders already stand at a staggering number and once again the Essex boys look like having to rewrite history once more...the ink has only just dried from the first time!

The band debut single Blag, Steal & Borrow charted at no. 31, making them the FIRST ever unsigned band to make the Official Top 40 Chart in the UK and causing a media scrum not seen for years in the UK Music, in the week of release the band appeared on numerous national and worldwide radio and TV shows.

The band have written their own rags to riches story building up a huge fan base through constant gigs and hard work, prompting respected music journalist to ask 'Are Koopa the next Arctic Monkeys ' such was the clamour for the bands attention.

2007 has been a whirlwind of live appearances including high profile appearances at South By South West, BBC6 New Music Awards and further dates confirmed include main stage at The Isle of Wight Festival and supporting The Feeling at The Big Culture show on June 2nd. The band are also nominated for three awards at this years Access All Area's New Music Awards in June as well as playing the single to an industry audience on the night.

The media bandwagon has been demanding the new single and that band wagon contains some influential media...George Ergatoudis at Radio 1, Caren Gibson at Kerrang!, Kate Beveridge at XFM, Dave Young at EMAP, Steve Lamacq at BBC 6, Adrian Thrills at Daily Mail, Alun Palmer at The Mirror, Gordon Smart at The Sun and dozens more.
