Nashville, TN (Top40 Charts/ Liberty Records) - Trace Adkins is planning to release a new single to country radio Monday, April 16. "I Wanna Feel Something," a moving ballad that explores the need to overcome complacency, is the third release from Adkins' gold-certified DANGEROUS MAN album and is the follow-up to his latest No 1 hit, "Ladies Love Country Boys."

"I recorded this song because I think the message is timely," explains Adkins. "We're just so overwhelmed and bombarded with information that it's hard to get a rise out of us anymore - about anything. It seems like it has to be something really shocking for us to stop and go, WOW!"

"I Wanna Feel Something" also marks Adkins' debut as a producer, teaming in that role with songwriting pals, Casey Beathard and Kenny Beard. The song has already entered the charts at No 44 on Mediabase and No 52 in R&R.
