NASHVILLE, TN (Top40 Charts/ 903 Music) - It was a busy weekend for 903
Music recording artists, the Drew Davis Band who traveled to Kansas City, MO for the KBEQ-FM's Q104 Birthday Bash. On Thursday, they visited KSHB-TV NBC Action News for a performance on Kansas City Live. Following their live performance they stopped at McCoy's in Westport for Q104's Acoustic Cantina where Davis, fiddle player Drake, and banjo player Loren Ellis performed three songs acoustically to the delight of restaurant patrons and fans. On Saturday, the band kicked off the festivities at the Beaumont Club, gearing up the crowd for an evening of live entertainment. Davis, who hails from Belton, Missouri, just 25 miles south of Kansas City fondly remembers attending the Birthday Bash as a teenager, 'It is such an honor to be able to return to my hometown and play at the Bash…'
The Drew Davis Band, drawn together by their love for country music, are the quintessential 'working band.' Traveling from coast to coast, driven to write and perform at the highest level and then to push higher still, they are stealing the hearts of country music fans across the country.
Consummate entertainer and 903 Music label head Neal McCoy enthuses, 'They've got the sound and the look. They move great onstage. They're great musicians and great guys. There are lots of good bands out there, but you almost never see anyone connect with audiences like these guys. They've got all it takes.'
Dubbed 'road-tested country,' their music is the product of talent, passion, and grit, and it is easier to hear how their experiences animate every song in their live show. From the sexy saunter of 'Dirty Blonde Bombshell' to the soaring romanticism of 'I Go Back There All the Time,' the heartbreak of 'How Do I' to the exuberant collision of rock & roll and down-home country on 'Turn It Up,' the Drew Davis Band is a must-see live act and never disappoints.
