Nashville, TN. (Cbuj Ent) - BURRITO DELUXE made the rounds at 'CRS-38' in Nashville last week, introducing themselves to Country radio programmers from all around the world. The group is currently promoting their latest single 'Disciples of the Truth' and new CD by the same name. Carlton Moody and Walter Egan thrilled interviewers with their responses to questions about the illustrious history of this group which has evolved from Country Rock royalty. Moody related how he and the late steel guitar legend, 'Sneaky' Pete Kleinow formed BURRITO DELUXE in 2000, and the fact that 'Sneaky' Pete's last recordings are featured on DISCIPLES OF THE TRUTH.' 'Sneaky' Pete was the co-founder of the Flying Burrito Brothers, whom are credited with inventing the blueprint for Country Rock in the late-60's. BURRITO DELUXE performed a rousing short set on Thursday night for radio professionals and fans at 'Live From CRS' at the Wildhorse Saloon along with many other acts, including, Bucky Covington, Donovan Chapman, and Emerson Drive. On Saturday night, BURRITO DELUXE hosted a standing-room-only CD release party for DISCIPLES OF THE TRUTH' at 3rd & Lindsley in Nashville. Fans from around the country and Europe were treated to a high-energy show of selections from the new CD, band favorites, and songs from their first two albums. Also in the crowd were some of Nashville's finest songwriters who contributed to the album, including Rob Crosby, George Hamilton V, Craig Karp and Tommy Job. After the performance, a surprise birthday cake was presented to keyboard player, Richard Bell. It was a perfect closing to the events of the week.
