Nashville, TN. (Dang Records) -
Steve Azar has renewed his tour sponsorship deal with ExxonMobil that will support his tour dates throughout 2007.
Since November 2006, Azar has been delivering his high-energy stage performance on the explosively successful "Face The Promise" tour with legendary rock star Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band. And when he's not on tour with Seger, Azar headlines his own concert dates across the country and On the Run convenience stores at Exxon and Mobil locations continue to cover his transportation costs all along the way.
"We're pleased to announce that we've renewed our On the Run tour sponsorship with Steve Azar for 2007," said Mark Shores, Director, U.S. Retail Sales, ExxonMobil Fuels Marketing. "Steve continues to embrace our brand values and resonates with our customers who live their life on the move and share a love for the freedom of the open road."
Azar first signed on with ExxonMobil in July 2005. Since then, the corporation has sponsored numerous free concerts and events including the "Steve Azar Celebrity Sports Challenge" held during last year's CMA Music Festival. The event brought celebrity athletes and country stars together to compete in various sports activities, becoming one of the biggest highlights of the festival.
"Working together with the ExxonMobil Brand Team has been an extremely comfortable partnership," says Azar. "They have been a tremendous asset to my music by helping me spread the word on the road, where a good portion of my life is spent. ExxonMobil has been nothing short of first class and I look forward to being out there On The Run in 2007."
"We look forward to keeping Steve fueled so he can do what he does best," adds Shores. "Steve can rest assured knowing he has the full support of our nationwide network of On the Run stores and Exxon and Mobil locations wherever his music takes him."
Azar will remain on tour with Seger through mid-March. In late April, he is expected to release his new CD titled Indianola that will be released on his own Dang Records imprint. Meanwhile, music fans can purchase an advance copy that includes five tracks from the new album, available exclusively at his concerts and online at www.steveazar.com.
