Nashville, TN. (Top40 Charts/ Lyric Street Records) - According to Nielsen SoundScan, in the last two weeks Rascal Flatts has seen not one, but two digital tracks surpass the 1 Million paid downloads threshold. 'What Hurts The Most' and 'Life Is A Highway' both cross the 1 Million digital downloads mark, making Rascal Flatts the first country artist in the history of SoundScan to have two songs reach this level.

The band has seen a busy start to 2007 with the kickoff of the 'Me And My Gang 2007' tour and recording for their upcoming album. Gary, Jay and Joe Don were most recently in the Los Angeles area shooting the video for their latest single, 'Stand,' with director Shaun Silva.

Me And My Gang was released in April 2006 and remains the biggest debut of the last year, selling more than 721,000 units in its first week of release according to Nielsen SoundScan. Four singles have been released from the project, including 'Stand,' the band's current country single, 'My Wish,' and the multi-week country No 1 and the group's first crossover chart-topper, 'What Hurts The Most.'

Rascal Flatts has scanned more than 13.8 million units through traditional brick and mortar and online retail outlets. Me And My Gang and Feels Like Today are each certified quadruple platinum by the RIAA for sales of more than 4 million units while Rascal Flatts and Melt are both certified double platinum.

Lyric Street Records is a part of the Buena Vista Music Group. The Buena Vista Music Group is the recorded music and music publishing arm of the Walt Disney Studios.
