LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts/ EMC) - EMC Director of Artist Development, Diana Henderson, announced the signing of singer/songwriter, Sherry Lynn to EMC as a full service client. "I became fascinated with Sherry Lynn at my first meeting with her. She's a vivacious woman who knows where she wants to be. When I became aware of her life story, I was even more impressed with her tenacity. It's a story that would rival any "Life Time" television feature. She's recorded a top notch project with noted producer Ted Hewitt, and now it's time for our EMC team to step in and do our thing! We can't wait to get started," stated Diana Henderson of EMC. Sherry Lynn was just two years old when her father was murdered. Sherry's mother found herself raising Sherry Lynn, her sister and her brother on her own. At 16 Sherry Lynn started waiting tables, by 17 she had her first child and dropped out of high school, by 19 she was married, and by 23 she had 4 children; her chance of becoming a singer, she thought, had long passed. "I figured at that point I was going to be a waitress for the rest of my life, that there would never be a light at the end of the tunnel." Not so. Today, Sherry Lynn has had top 10 successes throughout Europe and Australia and is releasing her debut project It's A Woman Thing due out in 2007; produced by noted Nashville producer Ted Hewitt, who had success with Rodney Atkins "If You're Going Through Hell." It's A Women Thing has ten songs, three of which Sherry Lynn wrote or co-wrote.
