Clay Walker Makes Memorable Mardi Gras

Nashville, TN. (Top40 Charts/ Curb Records) - Curb recording artist CLAY WALKER will join the 2007 Original Krewe of Orpheus in Mandeville, Louisiana on Friday, February 16th at 7:00 PM for a memorable Mardi Gras as the Celebrity Grand Marshall of their parade.

'I've been asked several times in the past to participate in the type of event, including a request to take part in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade,' says Clay. 'I have never accepted because it required being away from my family. This will be my first time as Grand Marshal, and I'm proud to be doing it in my fiancée Jessica Craig's hometown along with my two beautiful daughters, MaClay and Skylor.'

This year's event is equally special to the Krewe, as it marks the celebration of their 20th Anniversary with the theme, 'Old Enough to Vote, But Still Can't Drink,' and this year they will ride with Clay residing over 600 men and 30 floats!
