Nashville, TN (Top40 Charts/ CDA Promotions-Nashville) - Country singer/songwriter Tresa Jordan is set for the March 13 re-release of her self-titled debut album on South River Road Records thru an exclusive distribution agreement with Aspirion Records Group. Jordan and Aspirion are currently promoting her latest single from the CD, entitled, "Angels Cry". Robert K. Oermann of Music Row magazine says the song is, "Extremely well written, emotionally effective and sung to perfection." The CD, 'Tresa Jordan,' produced by Jim Cooper, has received critical acclaim across the board since its limited earlier release. Nashville music writer, Ron Wynn, sums up the most frequent reaction to the project: "Jordan's voice has the kind of honest, undiluted sensibility and sensuality that can neither be faked nor taught. It's a rich, sonically true, emotionally piercing quality that marvelously punctuates and embellishes her songs." Themes of everyday real-life are the hallmark of the 11 song project that is filled with the sounds of true traditional country music. It is acoustic, organic, and powerful. And at the same time, it is right in step with the tastes and likes of today's country music format.

Tresa Jordan grew up in a musical family in the small central Florida town of Melrose. "My dad was a drummer," she says. "I remember him going out to play with his band on Friday and Saturday nights. When I was about 9 or 10, I actually got to go sing with my dad. I've got a picture of me sitting there waiting to go out on stage to perform for the first time. It was the most awesome thing."

Those early experiences solidified Jordan's desire to pursue a creative career. She spent the last two years of high school studying at the Florida School of the Performing Arts, which required an audition for admittance. She passed with flying colors and was accepted into the prestigious arts school. The creative environment helped the young singer flourish, and she began writing her own songs. As her skills developed, so did her resolve to make a career as a country music singer. She knew that for that to happen she would have to make the move to Nashville. And she did.

The fruits of her songwriting skills are everywhere on 'TRESA JORDAN.' She wrote or co-wrote eight songs on the CD, working with noted writer, Regie Hamm, and other top Nashville songcrafters to create a very real, slice-of-life album that Jordan is very proud of. "This record is a dream come true for me," she says. "I hope it is as refreshing to the country fans as it was for me to make!"
