NEW YORK, NY. (Top40 Charts/ VH1) - VH1 is expanding its successful "You Oughta Know" new music promotion franchise to concert halls across the country with its first-ever "You Oughta Know" tour featuring Mat Kearney and special guests The Feeling and Rocco DeLuca & The Burden.

VH1.com will offer an exclusive ticket pre-sale beginning January 24 for the month-long tour which kicks off March 17 in Denver.

VH1's You Oughta Know franchise, launched originally on VH1.com in late 2004 introduces artists on the rise to the channel's adult music lover base via VH1, VH1.com and off-air marketing campaigns. This highly acclaimed franchise has helped break many artists such as James Blunt, The Fray and Corinne Bailey Rae and has proven to have an impact on their record sales.

"Part of our mission at VH1 is to introduce our adult viewers to music that we think they will enjoy. Our 'You Oughta Know' initiative has allowed us to do just that by leveraging all of our on-air and online platforms as well as our off-air marketing resources," said Tom Calderone, Executive Vice President, General Manager, VH1. "Our first-ever 'You Oughta Know' tour with Mat Kearney, The Feeling and Rocco DeLuca & The Burden lets us expand on that mission and take it to music fans directly so that they can experience first- hand how talented these artists really are."

Tickets can be purchased beginning January 24 through an exclusive online pre-sale at tours.vh1.com. Beginning January 26, tickets will also be made available in select cities through Ticketmaster in addition to tours.vh1.com. Please check with each individual club for its specific ticketing information.

Kearney's sound incorporates wide-ranging influences that paint his songs with strength and passion fusing poetic hymns with melodic choruses and acoustic folk/pop. Mat is currently on the road promoting his Columbia debut, Nothing Left To Lose, headlining shows throughout the country and opening for bands such as The Fray, Sheryl Crow and John Mayer, among others.

The U.K. band The Feeling delivers an amalgam of harmonic melodies and catchy choruses that reaches full fruition on its Cherrytree/Interscope debut, Twelve Stops and Home, which has already produced a pair of Top 10 international hit singles in "Sewn" and "Fill My Little World." The quintet's sonic touchstones range from the classic (the Beatles, the Stones, the Kinks, Queen, The Carpenters and the Beach Boys) to the more esoteric (10cc, Abba, the Human League and the Pet Shop Boys) to the timeless (Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, Harold Arlen). It's an approach that has created a whole new category of music for fans starved for the golden age of Top 40 radio.

Rocco DeLuca & The Burden are the first signing to the Jude Cole and Kiefer Sutherland owned independent record label, Ironworks Music. With his impressive vocal range and his preference for the Dobro steel guitar, DeLuca brings a new fresh sound intertwined with elements of his Appalachian and Blues influences. Rolling Stone recently remarked, "The echoes of Neil Young, Robert Plant, Jeff Buckley and Pearl Jam blend into something unique, especially when performed live ... the group packs the heat and rocks aggression to work its way into your head and stay there." The band is currently supporting their debut album, I Trust You To Kill Me, along with their single, "Colorful" which is quickly climbing the Hot AC charts.
