NASHVILLE, TN (Top40 Charts/ Beverley Mitchell Fans Website) - Actress Beverley Mitchell, who stars in the CW's hit series, '7th Heaven,' will release her debut album January 23rd on the ROM/Quarterback label. Mitchell, who is now in her 11th season portraying the emotional yet lovable Lucy Camden, recorded the album in Nashville during breaks in production, and co-wrote seven of the self-titled album's 14 songs. 'I have been singing for as long as I can remember,' Mitchell said. 'I've always appreciated country music because of the songs-they're real and honest. When I realized my dream of being able to write and record my own album, I knew Nashville was the place that best suited me as a writer and a singer. I'm really happy with the result-I think country music fans are going to be able to relate to this album, because we were dedicated to writing with an honest and pure intent.' For this record, Mitchell combined her lifelong love of country music with an upbeat California vibe. She collaborated with renowned songwriters Jim Wetherley ('Midnight Train To Georgia,' 'Neither One of Us'), Greg Becker (Rascal Flats, Carrie Underwood) and D. Scott Miller, who also produced the CD. At the age of four, Mitchell got her first break appearing in an Oscar Meyer commercial. She has been working steadily ever since in both film and television.
