Nashville, TN. (Top40 Charts/ Saskatchewan Country Music Association) - The Saskatchewan Country Music Association released their list of 2007 award nominees. Perennial favourite, Brad Johner, pulled down nominations for Fan's Choice Entertainer, Male Vocalist of the Year, and Single and Video of the Year for his hit "I'd Rather Be Lucky". The results reflect Johner's continuing strong fan and industry popularity with the release of several hit songs and videos from his late 2005 sophomore release "Summertown Road". "I feel very blessed to have the success I'm having," commented Johner. "I felt I had a great bunch of tunes on the album and radio and fans seem to be responding accordingly." Johner's manager and band also picked up a further 8 nominations in various categories from "Manager of the Year" to "All Star Band". The awards will be handed out in Saskatoon on April 15, 2007.
