 NASHVILLE, TN (Mercury Nashville) - SAMMY KERSHAW enters 2007 with TV and silver-screen appearances, a familiar new single and a stunning performance. Kershaw's brand new single, 'Baby's Got Her Blues Jeans On' has hit the GAC Top 20 Countdown. The upbeat tune adds a new twist to an old favorite. The single is featured on Kershaw's new album Honky Tonk Boots. Kershaw recently taped a commentary with two other artists for the Women's Entertainment program, Three Men and a Chick Flick. Kershaw and his 'co-hosts,' comment on the 1980 film Coal Miner's Daughter, a biographical film about the life of country music legend Loretta Lynn. The show will air on the Women's Entertainment channel early next year. Check local listings for airdates and times. The Louisiana native also makes an appearance on the popular Boomer Show in HD on Wealth TV. The show, hosted by Brian Christie, will air sometime early in 2007. Testing out his acting skills, Kershaw recently wrapped up filming for his role as US Marshall Morgan Duckett in the Western film Ghost Town. The independent film based on a true story is slated for release in Spring 2007. Kershaw kicks his honky-tonk boots into the new year with a performance on the Fox News Channel's 'A Nashville New Year with Sean Hannity,' airing December 31st nationwide starting at 10:00 pm (EST).
