BURBANK, CA (Warner Bros. Records) - Warner Bros. Records perennial rock favorites, Taking Back Sunday, will usher in 2007 with a headlining tour of North America kicking off on February 22nd in Pennsylvania. This will be the first extended tour of Canada for the band. Canadian fans will be able to purchase tickets starting today by visiting www.takingbacksunday.com, while U.S. fans will have a 24-hour presale launching tomorrow on the site. Tickets for most of the tour markets go on sale this Saturday, December 9th via Ticketmaster.

Taking Back Sunday's "Louder Now," which has been voted "Album Of The Year" by Kerrang! Magazine, skyrocketed to Number Two on Billboard's Top 200 chart a week after its April 23rd release, scanning more than 157,000 units. The RIAA gold-certified album spawned the hit single "MakeDamnSure," which was a Modern Rock Top 10 record for just under two months. The second single, "Liar (It Takes One To Know One)" is currently moving up the Modern Rock charts. On December 12th, the band will celebrate the success of "Louder Now" with the release of "Louder Now: Partone," which marks the first ever DVD component of their music.

With "Louder Now," Adam Lazzara (vocals), Fred Mascherino (guitar/vocals), Eddie Reyes (guitar), Matt Rubano (bass) and Mark O'Connell (drums), capture the intensity generated during their explosive live performances. "This is the record we have always wanted to make," says Lazzara. "We brought in every element from every influence we've ever had."

As N.M.E. declared, Taking Back Sunday "go all out to bare their rock fangs...and sharp they are too." See for yourself...
