NASHVILLE, TN (APC/Aspirion) - Country Music newcomer and Grammy nominee Tom Wurth (APC/Aspirion) celebrates the season with his rare recording of the stately church hymn 'Away In A Manger.' Wurth's rendition is a simplistic, musical narrative depicting the reason for the season. 'I wanted to record 'Away In A Manger' because it is truly symbolic to tell the story of Christmas; the story folks young and old are drawn to as the reason for the season,' said Wurth. 'This is my gift to personal friends and family, as well as my new friends at radio and in the industry who have supported me in the past several months with the release of my new project. You are all a gift in my life,' added Wurth. Tom released his self-titled debut CD in mid-October. His current single 'Bread On The Table' [Sonny LeMaire/J.P.Pennington/Shane Minor] is steadily climbing up the country music charts. TOM WURTH is a fifteen-song collection of personal short stories produced by Bart Butler and pop Grammy nominated John Ford Coley [the other half of the 70's/80's duo England Dan and John Ford Coley]. Tom has been on an extensive radio promotion tour for the last several weeks promoting the single and CD release. In addition to country radio across the nation, Tom's recording of 'Away In A Manger' will be released to all digital outlets, including iTunes, MP3.com, Live365.com, Amped, and e-music; it can be heard on internet sites around the world.* Tom Wurth is currently the Who's New featured artist in Country Weekly (December 12, 2006 edition) and was featured in the November 2006 issue of Power Source Magazine. APC/Apsirion Records will release Tom's second single in early Spring 2007 entitled 'If The Road Runs Out.' For more information on Tom Wurth, visit www.tomwurth.com.
