The video is also being distributed to various video outlets throughout the country. Creators Roland Clements and F. Dean Sneed of Idgit Dog Productions, depicts the song's story of a boy and girl growing up and experiencing a first love in small town America. The use of animated characters and live performance footage makes the video unique. "Kickin' Up Dust" is continuing its upward movement on the Music Row Country chart and is now at No 20. This is the group's second Music Row Top 40 single of 2006 and second release from their seventh studio album, Heaven and A Dixie Night. In conjunction with the release of the video, The Pirates of the Mississippi have released a holiday single entitled, "Snowman in Birmingham" and have been actively promoting their new CD release.
