Austin, TX (Austin GuitarTown) -— Academy Award Winner and Musician, Billy Bob Thornton, takes a moment to admire a Texas sized Gibson Guitar at the Recording Academy Honors in Austin , Texas . Billy Bob autographed the 10� guitar, which was painted by Karen Paul-Burges and will be placed among 35 others throughout the city of Austin .

The public arts project will unveil all of the guitars in a special ceremony, open to the public, on Monday, November 27, 2006 at 4 PM at City Hall.
