(CMT) -- The newly-created CMT GIANTS franchise celebrates the career of a chosen country music icon. Reba McEntire has been the leading lady of country music for over 20 years and for one special night, the stars of music, film and television paid tribute to their favorite redhead. The two and a half-hour special features performances by Faith Hill, Trisha Yearwood, Kelly Clarkson, Martina McBride, Jennifer Nettles, LeAnn Rimes, Megan Mullally, Wynonna and Dolly Parton with special appearances by James Denton, Dakota Fanning, Andie MacDowell, Beau Bridges, Barbara Mandrell, Melissa Peterman and Christopher Rich as well as a special performance by the honoree herself. In CMT GIANTS, McEntire is honored for her illustrious career, which includes 33 No. 1 hits, 29 albums, 15 American Music Awards, 12 Academy of Country Music Awards, seven Country Music Association Awards, two Grammy�s and the CMT Johnny Cash Visionary Award.
