Nashville, TN (Indie911) - Brett Dennen's breathtaking mix of folk, world, pop, rock and jam music is winning fans all over the country, including in Hollywood. Two of his songs have been tapped for inclusion on two hit ABC shows - Grey's Anatomy and Men In Trees. Dennen's "There Is So Much More" will be featured in the Nov. 9 episode of Grey's Anatomy, the top-rated television show in the country with over 22 million viewers. The following night (Nov. 10), Men In Trees, which stars Anne Heche, will include his song "One Who Loves You The Most."

A beautiful and spirited record. Instantly likable.
His sophomore album, So Much More, releases on Nov. 21 and is his first recording for Nashville-based Dualtone Records. The digital version of the album has already been released and immediately made an impact on Apple's iTunes and eMusic, the two most popular digital download sites. So Much More rocketed to the No. 1 most-downloaded spot on the iTunes folk chart, sharing the Top 10 with musical luminaries including Bob Dylan, Damien Rice and Old Crow Medicine Show. It also landed in the coveted No. 1 chart position overall on eMusic, the second most popular digital download site.

As his strong digital sales indicate, Dennen's music is creating fans of everyone who hears it including John Mayer with whom Dennen has been touring (along with Sheryl Crow). Mayer had this to say in Rolling Stone's "Breaking" column: "I'm really into this kid Brett Dennen, who I heard at the Hotel Cafe in Hollywood. He may get lumped in with the Jack Johnson feel-good/barefoot thing, but he's so much different than that. He's timeless - he's probably 25, but he seems like he's 25 in 1972. He paints these gorgeous pictures, musically, where you think, 'I want to hear his voice, I want to hear that guitar, and I want to hear those melodies.'"

In between dates with Mayer and Crow, Dennen is also part of the rotating lineup for the 2006 Hotel Cafe Tour, which features 25 artists on one bus, with one band and one crew, in 35 cities. The Hotel Café, an intimate venue in Los Angeles, is a "hotspot" known for showcasing the most gifted singer/songwriter talent that Hollywood has to offer.

When those dates wind down, there will be no rest for this hard-working song poet who joins up with Ziggy Marley for November tour dates in Baltimore and New Jersey.

What people are saying about Brett Dennen:

"He's timeless, he's probably twenty-five, but he seems like he's twenty five in 1972." - Rolling Stone

"I Asked When" is purely Dylan-esque in a 21st century "Masters of War" kind of way." - American Songwriter

"His music has a playfulness in its bounce while the lyrics ring with a truth beyond his years." - Michael Franti

"A beautiful and spirited record. Instantly likable." - John Mayer

"So Much More is a joyous dance, deliciously steeped in hope, faith and unconditional love." - KCRW
