New York, NY (Montgomery Gentry Official Website) - On the heels of both a CMA and American Music Award nomination and the release of their new album, 'Some People Change,' which boasts the Top 10 title track single, Montgomery Gentry will perform in Minneapolis at The Myth on November 2, with Ashley Monroe to open. A portion of the concerts' proceeds will be donated to The Diabetes Institute for Immunology and Transplantation at University of Minnesota (https://www.diabetesinstitute.org/).

"We are going to have a great time while supporting a great cause. We can't wait to get there," says Eddie Montgomery

While in Minnesota , Eddie and Troy will also pay a visit to local radio station, K102 for an on-air interview. "Eddie and Troy have been long time friends to K102 and have formed a great bond with Minneapolis/St. Paul, and their willingness to help with our local charity is just one of the many reasons why they hold a special place in the hearts of everyone in Minnesota ," said Gregg Swedberg VP/Programming Clear Channel Minneapolis.

Troy Gentry adds, "K102 has supported Montgomery Gentry since our start in 1999. We are honored to partner with them to benefit the Diabetes Research Institute."

Montgomery Gentry's new album,'Some People Change' not only showcases Eddie & Troy's growth, the album also boasts their foray into songwriting. Eddie & Troy also co-produced two of the albums 12 tracks with veteran Mark Wright (Gretchen Wilson, Brooks & Dunn, Los Lonely Boys), who shared production credit with Rivers Rutherford and Jeffrey Steele on the remaining songs.

The video for the albums' first single, 'Some People Change,' directed by Trey Fanjoy (The Wreckers, Miranda Lambert, George Strait), is a cinematic update on the old traveling tent shows - rock & roll country meets Gospel music. Both CMT & GAC have added the video into their heavy rotation programming.

Montgomery Gentry are currently on the 'It Takes All Kinds' tour featuring Phil Vassar, Little Big Town and The Wreckers opening in various cities.
