Big Cities and Big Dreams for Small Town Girl Kellie Pickler With The Release Of Her Debut Album

NASHVILLE, TN (Kellie Pickler Official Website) - Just over a year ago, Kellie Pickler began an incredible journey that has taken her from the obscurity of her small, hometown of Albemarle , NC , to instant fame in Hollywood with American Idol, and on to Nashville where she's set to release her debut album, Small Town Girl.

Reflecting on the past year Kellie said, 'When I was unpacking I came across photos from when I went to audition for American Idol, when I was standing in line with all those thousands of people in Greensboro . I just started crying. I couldn't believe how things have changed from that day. It's almost unreal.'

With the release of Small Town Girl on Tuesday, Kellie will again take center stage with a string of appearances across the country. After spending the morning of Halloween on air at WUSN in Chicago, Kellie will fly to New York and perform her hit single, 'Red High Heels,' on The Today Show on Wednesday, November 1. Also that day, she'll visit with CNN Showbiz Tonight's AJ Hammer.

On Thursday she'll visit with her friends at The View and then fly to Los Angeles where Friday will bring a reunion with American Idol host Ryan Seacrest at his studio on the set of E! Entertainment. From there, Kellie will head to Burbank and join Jay Leno on The Tonight Show.

It's been an incredible passage for Kellie and with the release of her album, the next chapter is set to begin. Kellie added, 'What I've learned the last year is that no dream is too big.'
